Spaza Shop Support Fund

Revitalising Local Economies, One Storefront at a Time
We partnered with accredited contractors, trainers, and financial partners to deliver infrastructure refurbishment, entrepreneur training, and business mentorship to township retailers.

  • 25 township entrepreneurs trained in business skills, merchandising, and compliance

  • 5 CIDB-accredited contractors employed across 3 municipal areas

  • SETA-accredited training modules on business operations and customer engagement


Ubuntu Wisdom Exchange

Bridging Generations Through Mentorship & Empowerment
UWE is a community-rooted initiative that connects youth under 35 with mentors aged 50+, combining intergenerational wisdom with Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), leadership coaching, and community-based problem solving.

  • 80 youth mentored across Cape Town and the Northern Cape
  • Facilitator manual, workbook, and course accredited under TTG
  • Digital platform in development for scaled access to mentorship

Legislative Sector Innovation Lab 

Where Oversight Meets Innovation
TTG supported provincial legislatures and SCOPA committees with the development of tools for financial oversight, performance tracking, and data visualisation.

  • SCOPA dashboard and tracking tool piloted in 2 provinces

  • Capacity-building workshops with 34 legislators and oversight officials

  • Custom-designed templates for APP alignment and AG reports

AI Meets Procurement: Enabling Faster, Smarter Access to Opportunities
We developed an AI-assisted platform to scrape, score, and prioritise tenders. The tool is currently being piloted with small businesses and municipalities to streamline procurement decision-making.

RPL for Community Development Practitioners

Recognition Without Repetition: Validating Lived Experience
TTG is partnering with SETAs and local municipalities to pilot a workplace-based Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) model for Community Development Practitioners (CDPs).

Aligned to QCTO occupational qualification
Toolkit, assessment portfolio, and PoE repository developed
